The Ayurveda Routine

The ideal wake up time is between 6 am to 8 am and practice waking up without an alarm. Start off the day with a glass of warm water. After your daily dose of cleanliness, engage is some light exercise or yoga activities. Have a nutritious breakfast and don’t rush to go to the office, college or school. The ideal lunch time is around 12 pm to 1 pm. Walk about 5 minutes after lunch to assist in digestion. Have small fruit couple hours after lunch and ensure you do not have raw food and cooked food together. Do some menial mechanical activity in the evening and have a light dinner and wait a couple of hours before going to bed. Reflect on the days’ activities and also plan for the important events for tomorrow. Do not eat in the bedroom and also abstain from reading and watching TV in bed.
